PRIZE DRAWING: Because Denny’s Baconalia Is Back!

Two years ago, Denny’s celebrated Baconalia by rolling out a line of bacon-heavy dishes, like Pepper Bacon & Eggs, the Ultimate Bacon Breakfast, the Spicy Pepper Bacon Jack Burger, and the Maple Bacon Sundae.

Last year, there wasn’t a Denny’s Baconalia celebration. I don’t know why, but my guess is that the previous Baconalia celebration caused the swine population to dwindle to the brink of extinction.

This year, Baconalia is back and Denny’s has not only brought back a few entrees from their previous celebration, but they’ve also introduced a pig’s worth of new bacon menu items.

Caramel Bacon Stuffed French Toast

A sweet and savory layer of bacon white chocolate spread between two thick slice of French toast, all of which is topped with caramel sauce and diced bacon. It’s served with two eggs, two hickory-smoked bacon strips, and warm syrup.

A three-egg omelet with diced pepper bacon, fresh avocado, fire-roasted peppers and onions, mushrooms, American cheese, and pico de gallo. It’s served with hash browns and your choice of bread.

Four strips of pepper bacon, spring mix vegetables, tomatoes, fresh avocado, and a creamy pepper spread between toasted sourdough bread. It’s served with a side of wavy-cut French fries.

  6. We love bacon so much, we used to get visited by the Bacon Bandit leaving us bacon recipes for thinks like Bacon wrapped asparagus and bacon wrapped pork chop (so really bacon wrapped bacon). BACON!

  10. I made Colcannon for dinner. Sautéed the cabbage in bacon and sprinkled the top with more bacon.

    Tomorrow I will make chocolate covered bacon with thick cut bacon.

  42. Over winter break a dennys opened up in my town and pretty much became our new go-to “it’s 4am and we just finished playing board games and/or are drunk” spot so GOOD TIMING on this. Even though I usually choose sausage over bacon. also, bacon.

But hey, sue me, I worked right next to the Dennys and no one can turn down bacon. One of my biggest regrets before the Dennys closed down was not trying the maple bacon sundae. bacon in an ice cream sundae sounds disgusting, but who knows? maybe it tasted delicious.

  111. There was a Denny’s near where I used to live in California. When my biker friend camped out at my place, he’d take me out to breakfast the next morning if he had time. Breakfast would’ve usually included bacon. I don’t think they ever screwed up the bacon.
