I thought Burger King’s new Bacon Cheddar Tendercrisp Sandwich sounded familiar. But I confused it with 2005’s Burger King Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, which had a commercial with a catchy jingle sung by country singer Darius Rucker. Don’t click the link, unless you want that song stuck in your head all day.
The Bacon Cheddar Tendercrisp features breaded white meat chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, a slice of American cheese, and a cheddar sauce on a brioche-style bun.
The sandwich has 740 calories, 47 grams of fat, 12 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 105 milligrams of cholesterol, 1770 milligrams of sodium, 49 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of sugar, and 33 grams of protein.

Lots of kudos for branching out, BK.
Wonder if hootie will return for commercial
Not good. Big sloppy mess. Chicken had no flavor. Bacon had no flavor. The cheese was like some type of yellow mayonaisse. And it sure didn’t look anything like that photo. I wasted $5.89 on one lousy bk sandwich. I could have gotten three jr. bacon cheeseburger deluxes for way less than that ($1.59 each). Now those taste good. Lettuce and tomato on a burger taste good. Lettuce and tomato on a chicken burger – eyuck. Especially when drowned in yellow mayonaise.
It’s revolting. I didn’t know it had melted cheese so when I opened it up i didn’t know what this pale yellow sauce was. It looked like bad mayo and it was on the lettuce which just turned everything into a dripping mess. I’m not fan of the bk bacon so between that and the awful cheese sauce it was hard to taste the chicken, which (after I picked off the dripping lettuce, bacon and the cheese slice) is actually really good. I love cheese and would put it on everything if I could, but this sandwich might have out me off for life!
