Dairy Queen’s S’mores Blizzard is back again, but this time it brought a buddy — the Oreo S’mores Blizzard.
The new treat features DQ vanilla soft serve with Oreo cookies, mini marshmallow filled chocolate bars, graham cracker pieces, and marshmallow topping. If you’re wondering if this is just a S’mores Blizzard with Oreo cookies, it is, but it isn’t. This new Blizzard doesn’t have the toasted graham topping the original S’mores Blizzard has.

I tried the Oreo version and it was just ok. Think the cookies overpower the s’mores vibe! My dq doesn’t seem to keep their ice cream cold enough b/c it is a liquid mess within 2 min.
Why Oreos in a smores?!? They don’t have to be in everything!!!
What I wouldn’t give for DQ to bring back S’more Galore Parfaits…those were seriously good. The only problem with them was that in the summertime, the crushed graham chunks had a tendency to go rancid in the stores due to the heat and being stored at room temperature.
I want to like a s\’mores blizzard but really cold, hard chocolate in a s\’more doesn\’t work. I feel like a chocolate syrup would better emulate the melty goodness that is so crucial to the s\’more experience.
I loved this sweet treat. Original or oreo s’mores blizzard…both are too good to criticize.
The S’mores blizzard (no oreo) is what brings me to DQ every year. I wish this could just stay on the menu!!!
