Over the past few days, I’ve been complaining about the warm weather on TIB’s Twitter account. Some of you are probably saying, “You live in frickin’ Hawaii! Suck it up, you little bitch!” But I am a hairy mofo, so I don’t cool down as well as those who are less hairy than me.
I tried panting, but apparently that only works for dogs.
So here I am staring at the new Jamba Juice Blackberry Bliss smoothie and wishing I had one in my hands so I could suck on it or pour it all over my hot (temperature, not sexiness) body to cool me down. This new smoothie consists of an apple strawberry juice blend, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, plain sorbet, ice, frozen blackberries and raspberry sherbet.

don’t even begin joke about jon and kate </3 =[
I hate Jamba Juice, they trick stupid people into thinking they’re healthy
A SMOOTHY?? all these frozen sugered berry drinks really bug me. Back in Vietnam we would cool our beer down by burying the beer in sand the pouring gasoline over it lighting it on fire. When the gas burned it would cool our brew Sometimes we would use the gas on the Vietcong
but thats another story.
I even forgot there was such a thing as Jamba Juice. Just escaped my memory entirely. *Poof*
The thing my sister liked most about Hawaii was the smoothies, she drank at least one a day. Usually she is very cheap and hard to impress so they must have been good. I don’t think they were Jamba Juice though.
If you are too hot (weather wise) it’s time to pack up and move to Canada. Then for most of the year you can complain about freezing your teabags off.
That is why you should go to Roebek’s or Tropical Smoothie. But I usually make my own smoothies and they taste way better than any place and much cheaper
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought bringing Jon & Kate into this was a bit much. We all wish them the best. ^.^
Living here in Hawaii with my brother has changed my ideas of what hawaii is like…and I would say that I am not a hairy mofo, but it is getting humid and it rained like hell on this side today… and afterwards it was nasty and humid…still blackberry…yum I have fond memories of growing up and picking blackberries at my grandmothers house she used to make the best blackberry pie. I’m not sure I will try jamba’s blackberry smoothie… but I will say for the record that I do like the idea of a blackberry smoothie, but probably wouldn’t care for the actual expereince
I find more satisfaction making my own smoothies, although the 260 calories for the 16 ounce cup looks appealing. The 54 grams of sugar kills the deal tho.
I got an subscriber e-mail from Jamba Juice and was tempted by there $1 off by using the “code word” for the day found on their blackberry bliss website. I folded and walked my butt across the street enduring the windless, hot conditions we are having in Hawaii. Code word given to the cashier and ba da bing, off came the dollar. As I anxiously awaited my concotion to be served, I realized that blackberries had little seeds covering its delicate skin..ack…already disenchanted as I took my first sip, I had only to relish in the thought that I saved $1. The taste? It was a tang bit sour and no dairy whatsoever in this baby. I will stick to my other favorites.
why are so many commenters from hawaii like myself?
