Putting Wendy’s Frosty in waffle cones is such a great idea that I bet Dave Thomas’ spirit was smiling when someone at Wendy’s came up with the idea. I also hope Dave Thomas was playing chess with Ray Kroc when it happened and yelled in Mr. Kroc’s face, “BOOYAH!”
According to Grub Grade, they’re being tested in Portland, Oregon (sorry Portland, Maine) for $1.49. A quick search on Twitter shows Frosty Waffle Cones might also available in other cities, like Milwaukee and Miami.

I like them and my mother loves them. Like any soft serve cone, it will start melting if you take too long to eat. We haven’t had that problem. I predict these will be a hit!
I hadn’t heard about the new Wendy’s waffle cones, but had an opportunity to try one tonight. It is fantastic, especially with the chocolate flavored frosty. I hope they keep it on the menu!
I tried a chocolate Frosty Waffle Cone today, it was great!! I hope the cones stay but a travel container will need to be designed for them, not just the cup it was out in, it was top heavy.
The waffle cone was super delicious! The only thing I have against it was the “glue” attaching the paper to the cone.
I’m absolutely sure the “glue” you are talking about is not harmful. It’s just sugar and water. They would not be allowed to use something harmful.
