According to Nation’s Restaurant News, McDonald’s will launch the Cheddar Bacon Onion Angus Third Pounder and the Cheddar Bacon Onion Premium Chicken Sandwich later this fall.
The sandwiches feature hickory-smoked bacon, caramelized grilled onions, two slices of white cheddar, and a creamy mustard sauce. The chicken sandwich can be ordered with either a crispy or grilled chicken filet.
NRN also reports McDonald’s will offer Fish McBites nationwide sometime next February.
The Cheddar Bacon Onion sandwiches and the Fish McBites have been in test markets since early this year, so if you’ve tried them, let us know what you think of them in the comments.

Those McD’s sandwiches sound pretty good – I don’t often get burgers from there, but I may have to check this one out.
Been enjoying the chicken version a little too much lately. I do the crispy version, and I love the carmelized onion and sauce, makes for nice sweet and tangy mix. (Didn’t realize they were testing out in my neighborhood, I’m honored!)
I’ve eaten several Chedder Bacon Onion sandwiches from my local Mcdonalds and they are really quite good IMO, I never knew they were a test product.
Its been out at the Mcdonalds i go to here in Newark,NJ for a few weeks now i really like it i always get the crispy chicken version for around $4.79.
It is definitly better then most of the sandwiches on the menu. Having worked at a mcDonalds resturant, i have to say that its better then the previous versions of the sandwich. Bout 10 years ago, the cheese was like cheeze wiz from a can and it came out of a can.
