If I watched Top Chef, I’m sure this would’ve been a big deal to me. If a company made a frozen meal conceived by a Masterchef, then I’d be all over that because Masterchef is my jam…mainly because I don’t subscribe to cable. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)
Whaaaaa? Potatoes get graded? Whaaaaa? Ore-Ida uses unnatural ingredients in their other potato wedges? (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)
Oh, Kraft! You’re so wonderful at helping my lazy ass in the kitchen! (Spotted by Nicolas at Meijer.)
To be honest, I had no idea there was Asian yogurt…and I’m Asian. (Spotted by Kayla at Safeway.)
Enough with the sweet stuff, Fiber One! How about tackling the salty stuff, like potato chips and pizza. (Spotted by Adam at Walmart.)

Crustless chicken pot pie? Isn’t that just chicken stew?
That crustless chicken pot pie is one of the most revolting frozen dinners I have ever tasted. It takes all the good parts out of pot pie, not just the crust, and leaves behind a bland, gooey mess. I could only choke down a couple of bites before I gave up and threw it away.
I did 2 years in a federal penitentiary once and they fed us crustless chicken pot pie twice a week. The inmates would set their mattresses on fire in protest. I was totally willing to pay my debt to society but damn, can’t they throw in just a little crust? We weren’t asking that they give us each an entire pot pie but maybe split one pot pie between every 30 inmates so everyone gets a little taste of crust, everyone knows that the crust is the entire point of the chicken pot pie. But the warden was a hardass and he wouldn’t let us get within fifty yards of any crust, just a bowlful of chicken gloop.
Fiber One knows my weakness(es)!
Just an update: I bought and reviewed the Fiber One’s. Once again, they’re dry. The Lemon Bar was pretty bland, but the Cinnamon Coffee Cake had a surprisingly nice taste.
I am looking forward to the cinnamon coffee cake and lemon bars from Fiber One.
What is Asian yogurt? I ask this as a fellow Asian person… I’m baffled since typically Asian countries don’t consume all that much dairy so I have no idea what an Asian yogurt would be like…
