SPOTTED ON SHELVES (RETURNING SEASONAL NABISCO PRODUCT EDITION) – 11/12/2013

Here are some returning seasonal Nabisco limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Limited Edition Gingerbread Oreo

If only Gingerbread Oreo had a head I could bite off, because then I’d get even more pleasure from eating it. Here’s our review from last year. (Spotted by Marvo at Walmart.)

Limited Edition Snowflake Ritz

I’m not sure these Snowflake Ritz Crackers truly encompass what’s special about snowflakes. For example, no two snowflakes are alike, but these Snowflake Ritz Crackers all look alike. So I suggest before opening the box you stomp on it to ensure no two Snowflake Ritz Crackers are alike. (Spotted by Charmi at Safeway.)

Winter Oreo

Why won’t you die Winter Oreo that tastes exactly like regular Oreo cookies!? I’m sick of seeing you. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Limited Edition Wheat Thins Holiday

Because these aren’t very interesting, I’m going to ask, “Has anyone seen the delectable Limited Edition Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins back on shelves?” (Spotted by Claire G. at Weis Markets.)

Limited Edition Fudge Covered Ritz

I’m trying to figure out why we see these Limited Edition Fudge Covered Ritz Crackers only during the fall season and why they never look festive. (Spotted by Dave at Target.)

Limited Edition Candy Cane Oreo

Candy Cane Oreo is back! Here’s our review from 2010. Just don’t get it confused with Peppermint Oreo, which may also be back. (Spotted by Claire G. at Target.)

Thank you to all the photo contributors! If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. If you do so, you might see your picture in our next Spotted on Shelves post.

  1. I have both the snowflake Ritz and the winter Oreo’s in my pantry. The Ritz are a disappointment as the snowflake pattern also makes a neat perforation where the cracker will fall into 3 to 6 parts as soon as you show it a knife with cheese.

The winter oreo’s are a big hit with my boys as they like the vibrant red coloring. I like the vibrant red coloring because it stains their teeth and makes them look like zombies who have just eaten brains. Maybe I need help.

  2. The Fudge covered Ritz should be year round!!! I bought e dry box I could find!!!! I even had a friend buying them for me until she ate a box then we were both buying them all. I’m truly looking forward to the holidays if they don’t show up my family better hide I will be a total mess!!!!
