Pros: Tasty, spicy snack. Hearty crunch. Nice chili pepper and lime flavor with noticeable notes of paprika. Even though they look like they’re going to be painfully spicy, they have a nice low-to-mid level heat.
Cons: They look like Satan’s claw clippings. Exclusive to Safeway. Not going to be liked by those who dislike monosodium glutamate. They’ll turn your fingers red. I don’t think they’re very spicy, but why are they making my nose run while I’m eating them?

For more heat, try the habañero flavored ones.
One more Con for me.. trying to pronounce Marcela’s last name: Villadroid?
Valhaladala? Vayacondilod?
Kenneth is right. For more heat, and simply better Flaquitos, give the habanero flavored ones a try. We found them at Dominick’s grocery store in the Chicago area.
i dont think the habinero ones are hotter than the chilli lime ones i drink more water when i eat the chilli lime than when i eat the habinero and the habinero are smokey i didnt like that
Is this review and comments serious? Mine were so hot it was like licking a plate of chile powder. No “notes” of anything else but chile powder. Even tried wiping off the powder so I could eat some and not have to waste food.
Either they changed the recipe or something went seriously wrong in the assembly line for my bag because these were PAINFUL to eat. And, no, I am not against spicy: I consider my Tabasco sauce an important part of seasoning.
