SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 12/4/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Whitman's Weight Watchers Bite Size Dark Chocolate and Caramels

Weight Watchers Peanut Butter and Triple Chocolate Brownie Bliss

Whitman’s teamed up with Weight Watchers? That’s like Wendy’s teaming up with Weight Watchers because they both start with W and end with an apostrophe S. That’s all. I can’t think of any other reasons. (Spotted by Sylvia at Vons and Molly Kroger.)

Green Mountain Coffee Espresso Roast

It seems like everyone is coming out with their own refrigerated iced coffee nowadays. There’s International Delight, Silk, Starbucks, and now Green Mountain Coffee. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Silk PureAlmond Light Almond Milk

Hey, do you know what would be weird? If someone came out with almond milk iced coffee.
(Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Vanilla Iced Coffee

Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Mocha Iced Coffee

Weird achieved! Now it would be weirder if someone came out with coconut milk iced coffee. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

  1. The “new” silk and almond ice coffee have been around for a while. I actually like taking a banana and the silk latte and making smoothies

  2. I’d like to try the Green Mountain iced coffees. I’ll have to check Safeway and see if they have them yet (we always seem to be a few weeks behind in getting new stuff). I tried the Starbucks, and didn’t really care for it; I thought it was too sweet. However, I do like Green Mountain K-cups, so I have slightly higher hopes for their bottled drinks.

    1. The green mountain is pretty tasty, but if you want a really good iced coffee I highly recommend the espresso latte from califia farms. Best latte I’ve ever had!

  3. Bought some Green Mountain in Mocha flavor yesterday, and while it is tasty it’s mostly just coffee flavored, I didn’t taste any “mocha” flavoring even though the ingredients list assured me it contained cocoa and skim milk.. Not something I’d be willing to buy again anyway considering it is more expensive and comes with less 16 ounces than I. Delight.
