Let’s see…there’s Chocolatey Crunch Cereal in 2011, Cinnamon Roll Crunch Cereal in 2012, Cap’n Crunch Snack Mixes in 2013, and Cap’n Crunch’s Sprinkled Donut Crunch in 2014. Looks like someone trying really hard to be Admir’l Crunch. (Spotted by Dubba at Walmart.)

  2. This might be a must-try for me, BUT, what does it have to do with Cap’n Crunch? Call me a purist, but I don’t think it’s Cap’n Crunch unless it resembles the original.

  3. I’ve hated every single new Cap’n Crunch variation in the past 10 years, but I’ll be damned if I’m not gonna try it.

  6. Just had a bowl of this cereal and I must say I thought it was very good. Definitely the best donut cereal out there. It actually tastes a bit like crunchy donuts. Also the sprinkles play a larger role than expected, providing a nice change in texture from other cereals out there. This is a must try for all cereal lovers.

  7. So I HAD to try this when I saw it at Walmart. I was a HUGE fan of the General Mills cereal Sprinkle Spangles when I was growing up and this looked similar…OMG it’s AMAZING and tastes so much like Sprinkle Spangles. I’m in heaven!!

  8. Ate it. Very sweet (obviously). More like “cake batter” flavor than anything else. The sprinkles were a nice textural change up that added crunch to the soggy rings when soaked in milk. Made the milk an unappealing blue tint. Not a re-buy for me.
