Did you know August is National Coffee Month? I didn’t because I thought it was September since National Coffee Day is on September 29th.
Well, if you want to celebrate coffee this month, you could drink coffee. Or, for a limited time, you could eat Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Glazed Coffee Creme Donut or Coffee, Creme & Sugar Donut.
Both feature a glazed yeast shell and are stuffed with a buttercreme made with Dunkin’ Donuts’ Original Blend Coffee. But the Glazed Coffee Creme Donut is drizzled with a chocolate icing, while the Coffee, Creme & Sugar Donut is topped with powdered sugar.
A Glazed Coffee Creme Donut has 360 calories, 19 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 360 milligrams of sodium, 44 grams of carbohydrates, 25 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein. A Coffee, Creme & Sugar Donut has 330 calories, 19 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 350 milligrams of sodium, 35 grams of carbohydrates, 16 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein.

Yuck.
This sounds like a good idea but Dunkin’ Donuts has disappointed me so many times in the recent past that I’ve stopped going there entirely.
I don’t know — the donuts look good, but that creme filling looks too stiff, like there’s a lot of powdered sugar in it. (which would be more icing than filling.)
I’ll wait til you try it first!
I’ve had the glazed shell with chocolate drizzle and coffee butter cream filled donut one 2x now. Pure love. I’m not a donut person. I tried it the first time on pure chance and now I am having a hard time finding locations that carry the little suckers when I’m craving something deliciously sweet!!! I almost wish I never tried it to begin with.
