Oh, Russell Stover! What flavor won’t you stick in a candy pumpkin? (Spotted by Sylvia at Walgreens.)
This is a product for kids, so shouldn’t the Z come at the end of the word “Bar”, not before it. Barz. See. That looks like what I’m used to. (Spotted by Carla at Target.)
The blue Rockstar Roasted with Almond Milk is Light Vanilla, the black one is Caffe Latte, and the red one is a flavor people wouldn’t associate with the color red, White Chocolate. (Spotted by Rene at FoodMaxx.)
I bet these V8 Protein Bars are horrible in Bloody Marys. (Spotted by Lindsay at Meijer.)

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Rockstar Roasted, but I’m not in a hurry to buy.
I had the caffe latte , was pretty good . Lactose free, almond milk gluten free , smart move for rockstar. Unlike monster muscle with tons of sodium , and tear my stomach up
Muscle Monster is intended as a post work-out recovery drink. Thus, they have more sodium and protein. You should compare it with Monster Java for a more fair comparison.
The V8 bars is oddly similar to last year in Walgreens. Wonder if they reformulated the bars
I tried the pecan-pie pumpkin from Russell Stover. If you’ve ever had one of those maple leaf candies (made with just maple syrup and cane syrup), the filling tastes almost identical. The texture is more like a grainy fudge rather than the standard pecan-pie goo. Overall, it doesn’t taste like pecan pie, but it’s still delicious. I plan to stock up during the after-Halloween clearance sales.
I didn’t snap a pic but there is, in fact, a Red Velvet Cake Russell Stovers pumpkin. Because the world doesn’t have enough red velvet cake stuff.*
* I was going to say ‘crap’, but the Russell Stovers stuff usually isn’t too bad…
There’s actually an apple-pie one that’s new this year as well. I haven’t tried it yet, but I generally like most of the Russell Stover flavors. The red velvet one doesn’t really taste like red velvet, but it’s still pretty tasty!
Coming from a guy who enjoys these Russell Stover products, let me say that the Apple Pie is horrible. I tasted absolutely no apple, as the overpowering taste of cinnamon controlled this thing. Horrible! I do still have the Pecan Pie one as well, hoping that one turns out better.
I just tried the apple pie one and I thought it was like eating a apple-cinnamon air freshener. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Give the pecan pie one a try though. It tastes like chocolate-covered maple fudge. It’s one of my favorite Russell Stover’s offerings.
I saw 3 new flavors of V8 vegetable juice at Woodman’s the other day. One was a Clamato copycat, one had lime and salt in it (not the old lime version), and one was… spicy? I don’t remember. Anyone else seen these and/or tried them?
They also recently FINALLY came out with a V8 Bloody Mary mix.
Okay, I did some digging, and the new flavors are Mint & Lime, Sea Salt & Clam, and Spicy Mango.
