Before you get excited, let me rain on your parade. Kellogg’s calls it a “soft waffle-style bread,” so it’s bread shaped like waffles and not the Eggo waffles we all know and heat up in our toasters. Bummer.
There’s also a bacon, egg, and cheese version, but not even bacon can turn my frown upside down when it comes to these sandwiches not having actual Eggo waffles.
The sausage version has 290 calories, 17 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 510 milligrams of sodium, and 10 grams of protein. The bacon one has 210 calories, 10 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 550 milligrams of sodium, and 9 grams of protein. And the egg and cheese has 200 calories, 8 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 470 milligrams of sodium, and 9 grams of protein. (Spotted by Chris at Meijer.)
