Starbucks’ Frappuccino turned 20 years old this year. To celebrate, you could do what you usually do when one of your acquaintances has a birthday and post “Happy Birthday” on their Facebook page. Or you could pick up the Starbucks Birthday Cake Frappuccino.
The limited time beverage features a blend of vanilla bean and hazelnut flavors and is topped with a raspberry-infused whipped cream.
Starbucks’ Birthday Cake Frappuccino will only be available between March 26 and 30 at locations in the U.S. and Canada.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Apparently this is on their ‘secret menu’ available all year round: http://starbuckssecretmenu.net/starbucks-secret-menu-cake-batter-frappuccino/
It’s intresting. I wouldn’t say it definitely tastes like a birthday cake but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s just a vanilla bean frappuccino with hazelnut syrup and whipped cream with a slight hint of raspberry. It’ll be real interesting when the cookie straws come out…
I just tried it today – I had my doubts when reading about it … I wondered how vanilla + hazelnut = cake … but it honestly does taste a lot like a slice of Funfetti cake! I think the raspberry whipped cream makes it. It’s definitely worth a try before they take that delicious raspberry whipped cream back into hiding.
I had one today as well. I thought it was delicious! I had mine made with soy milk, and thought overall it had a real cake-like flavor! I agree with Bekah’s comment that the raspberry whip makes it extra great!
I had one today. I got mine with non-fat milk and had them make it half-sweet (since I think all their drinks are WAY too sweet on average). I liked it! Definitely had that cakey/frostingy feel. I did not like the raspberry whip though. It was also too sweet, and I somehow thought it would be a tart raspberry.
