You trust Dunkin’ Donuts with donuts. You trust Dunkin’ Donuts with coffee. But would you trust Dunkin’ Donuts with guacamole? Find out with Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Bacon Guacamole Flatbread Sandwich.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ guacamole is made with Hass avocados, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice. Along with the guacamole, the new sandwich also features two strips of bacon, an egg, and a slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese in a warm multigrain flatbread.
The new sandwich is available now through May at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.

Here’s the problem: they put it on the sandwich before they stick it in the convection oven to melt the cheese. Who wants heated guacamole?
Maybe they freeze it? I mix up Haas avocados with lime or lemon juice and then freeze about half an avocado at a time in ziploc sandwich bags, smoothing them into a flat layer. They freeze fast and can be stacked and then thaw very fast also. They taste fine after being frozen (you can also freeze them in bigger amounts the same way, not flattening but just getting out air bubbles. Also slices can be easily frozen). The recommendation is to not include tomatoes or any other liquidy thing in the mashed version other than the lime or lemon juice, other stuff can be added later.
