Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our Carl’s Jr. Hostess Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich review.
Carl’s Jr. has used Pop-Tarts to make an ice cream sandwich, so it’s not surprising to see the fast food chain team up with Hostess to create an ice cream sandwich that features the chocolatey, hockey puck-looking Ding Dong.
Ding Dongs are a chocolate cake with a vanilla cream filling, a thin chocolatey exterior, and a name that’s fun to say out loud. The Hostess Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich features a scoop of vanilla ice cream in between a Ding Dong that’s been split in half.
The dessert has 290 calories 15 grams of fat, 10 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 190 milligrams of sodium, 35 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 25 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein.

Carl’s / Hardee’s, have you no shame? OK, if you have a supermodel in a bikini eat one and have the ice cream drip all over her chest then maybe I’ll try one. Twist my arm.
