Chips Ahoy! is the Jan Brady of Nabisco cookies and, of course, Oreo is the Marcia Brady. While Oreo has been used in numerous shakes, snacks, and desserts, the crunchy chocolate chip cookie hasn’t seen as much love.
But Dunkin’ Donuts is showing a little love with a line of Chips Ahoy! products that includes two new donuts — Chips Ahoy! Crème Donut and Chips Ahoy! Crunch Donut.
The Chips Ahoy! Crème Donut is a yeast shell filled with cookie dough-flavored buttercreme and topped with chocolate icing and crumbled Chips Ahoy! cookies. The Chips Ahoy! Crunch Donut is a yeast ring frosted with chocolate icing and topped with crumbled Chips Ahoy! cookies.

I usually get the butter pecan iced coffee but the lady recommended that I tried an Oreo or chips ahoy iced coffee since they just came out yesterday. I picked the Oreo one and was pleasantly surprised! It was chocolatey but not too chocolatey. It tasted more like chocolate than of mocha, which I usually get for a chocolate coffee. The lady topped it off with whipped cream and Oreo pieces on top. This might be my new favorite flavor. I wonder what the chips ahoy one tastes like. Can’t wait to get another one!
Oreo iced coffee tastes like chocolate. It wasn’t bad, I suppose I was hoping for more of a creamy oreo milkshake type flavor. I am still excited to try chips ahoy.
These two (Oreo and Chips Ahoy) replaced the previous Baskin Robbins speciality flavors of Rocky Road, and Cookie Dough. If you are familiar and had tried them, you would know that this is simply a marketing ploy by Dunkin Donuts. The Oreo tastes exactly the same as the Rocky Road and Chips Ahoy taste exactly that same as Cookie Dough. Coincidence? Doubtful. They might be labelled differently, but tasting them and thinking about it, you will realize that they are the exact same flavors that were “replaced.”
I don’t think that they are the same (at least the rocky road and the Oreo) I had rocky road and really hated it. I could only taste mocha in it and nothing else. However, in the Oreo it actually tastes like chocolate and an Oreo, not like mocha. I can’t say anything about the chips ahoy because o haven’t had it yet.

I had the chips ahoy cream filled a few days ago. Disappointing. The whole thing had a burnt sugar flavor that ended up tasting faintly of plastic.
Got the Oreo coffee today. It’s definitely different from the mocha and the Rocky road. They’re very subtle differences, but they’re there if you look for them.
Ok so today I got the chips ahoy iced coffee. It was amazing! I think I actually like it better than the Oreo…can’t decided they are both so good! It was very sweet so you might not want sugar if you don’t like to over sweeten your coffee but it was really good! I would get another!
Both Oreo and Chips ahoy donuts were good. The Oreo Coffee was amazing. The Chips ahoy just tasted like sweetened coffee.
Tried the chip ahoy and loved it
I got a chocolate chip ahoy coolatta, and it was just gross. I thought it would resemble coffee in some type of way , but not at all. Tasted like a melted milkshake 🙁 Very disappointed , think I’ll stick to coffee bean lol.
chips ahoy iced coffee is the only reason i visit DD twice a day!!!!
