Oatmeal Crisp Dark Chocolate Cranberry Cereal

Since I can’t get this here, I’m just going to dump some chocolate-covered Craisins into a bowl of Oatmeal Crisp cereal. Wait…do we have Oatmeal Crisp cereal in the U.S.? (Spotted by JunkFoodDog at Real Canadian Superstore in Canada.)

Krispy Kreme Limited Time Only Glazed Blueberry Pie

The blueberries on the left side look kind of freaky. The middle of each one looks like an eye that’s following me. (Spotted by Chris at Walmart.)

Kashi Organic Promise Sweet Potato Sunshine Cereal

When I see a new Kashi cereal, its name almost always makes me think of Care Bears. (Spotted by Debra at Target.)

  1. Oatmeal Crisp certainly is available in the U.S….well at least here in Michigan, it is. It’s typically found wedged between Raisin Nut Bran and Basic 4. The three make up General Mills’ trio of often-forgotten healthy cereals.

    Personally, I love them!

  2. The Kashi cereal is mostly wheat and rice with sweet potato and sugar. Usually foods with that order of ingredients don’t taste sweet potatoey at all. Bummer.

  3. So the flakes aren’t made out of sweet potato? Or have just a tiny hint of sweet potato in it?
    What a bummer…

    1. Sweet potato is pretty small part of the ingredients. I’ve had chips and crackers like this and there was barely any sweet potato flavour or texture. Looks like they added sugar to add the sweet?

Brown Rice*, Hard Red Wheat*, Dried Sweet Potato*, Dried Cane Syrup*, Sea Salt, Cinnamon*, Molasses*, Vitamin E (Mixed Tocopherols) For Freshness.
