SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Funyuns Steakhouse Onion

Funyuns Steakhouse Onion

I guess Frito-Lay would’ve gotten sued by Outback Steakhouse if it was Funyuns Bloomin’ Onion. But I’ve never heard anyone call the appetizer a “steakhouse onion.” Bloomin’ Onion is like Kleenex. (Spotted by Pat at Walgreens.)

  1. They probably trademarked the apostrophe form bloomin’ onion and would sue the bloomin’ pants off anybody who used it… Blimey. But I’ve seen onion blossom in recipes and kits in the grocery store. Wikipedia claims blooming onion and onion bloom are also used, but those are new to me.

  2. Picked them up yesterday. They are really good. Highly recommend. Especially if high. Enjoy.

  3. My husband bought a bag of them and brought them home to eat with a burger cooked on the grill and they were amazing!!! Help we can’t find them anywhere and we are fixing to have a burger for supper today and it just won’t be the same if he can’t find us any on his way home!!!
