Trader Joe's Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake

This has a hand-pressed chocolate cookie crust and cheesecake filling. It’s topped with bittersweet chocolate ganache and peppermint pieces. But it also has six Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Cookies IN the cheesecake. Crazy Cane! (Spotted by Rachel C at Trader Joe’s.)

  1. So if a hybrid between a croissant and a donut is called a cronut, then I suppose this latest offering from Trader Joes’s could be called a cheesecookie.

  3. They’ve already run out of these at all TJ’s in Phoenix. I was told they’re done for the season (aka not getting any more).

      What’s wrong with the trader joe’s in Phoenix, that they can’t manage how much limited products to order for not letting the costumers standing before empty shelves on the first day ? ^^
      (I mean it’s alright if this happens once or twice, but it seems you can’t get one of these amazing sounding products)

      1. Haha, thanks. I’m not sure what the problem is. I’ve called around and the answer is always the same – although some of the folks I speak to are a lot more polite and apologetic than others. I’m starting to think it’s some conspiracy to make me buy them second-hand off eBay for an inflated price like those candy corn Oreos and candy corn Pebbles (the latter of which I’ve still never had the opportunity to taste).

          Since i never really liked fruity cereal (and with that i mean froot loops, the only fruit cereal we have here), though i’m a huge cereal fan, i can’t say you missed much by not getting your hands on them, but as fellow cereal lover: 🙁

          Still: I’m crossing my fingers, that all the TJs in Phoenix get their crap together and will be stocked with more of those limited products in the future 🙂
