SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 12/18/2015

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

JC's Pie Bites (Cinnamon Egg Nog, White Chocolate Peppermint, and Snickerdoodle)
JC’s Pie Bites (Cinnamon Egg Nog, White Chocolate Peppermint, and Snickerdoodle)

You’re right, JC. Tis the season for egg nog, peppermint, and snickerdoodle flavored snacks. (Spotted by Chris B at Giant.)

Cooked Perfect Meatball Bistro Skillet Meals (Gourmet Mac & Cheese and Stroganoff Sauce)

Cooked Perfect Meatball Bistro Skillet Meals (Mushroom Risotto and Tomato Basil Pasta)

Cooked Perfect Stuffed Meatballs (Three Cheese in Marinara and Cheese in Caramelized Onion Sauce)

I’ve never heard of Cooked Perfect before. But, perhaps, the brand should be renamed to Meatballs, Meatballs, and Meatballs, because it appears they make a lot of meatballs. (Spotted by Amanda at Kroger.)

H-E-B Glazes (Pineapple Sriracha, Honey Maple, Brown Sugar, and Peach Bourbon)

Their packaging suggests Honey Maple and Peach Bourbon would go great on ice cream, but not the Brown Sugar? (Spotted by Robbie at H-E-B.)

Ball Park The Flame Grilled Beef Jerky (Original and Bourbon BBQ)

Ball Park The Flame Grilled Beef Jerky (Teriyaki and Barbecue)

Not impressed, Ball Park. But you’ll have my attention when you start selling hot dog jerky. (Spotted by Adam at Tops Friendly Markets.)
