The name Scandinavian Swimmers just makes me think of a European sperm donor.
I didn’t try them but the texture and ingredients seem totally different than Swedish fish. It’s s good thought though.
Do Scandinavian Swimmers have gelatin on them?
Bought these and was very anxious to try them out.
I am a Hugh fan of gummy candies, all types, but not hard gummies such as Haribo. I like my gummy bears on the softer side. The texture and consistency of Scandinavian Swimmers gummies is great. Soft. However the flavor is not fruity enough. The first was nice but by the third one all I could taste was gelatin and sugar.
The back of the package reads “naturally derived colors and bright, fruity flavors”. I am disappointed, these flavors aren’t fruity. The lemon and orange definitely need more real fruit. The red ones taste similar to red Swedish Fish, which I don’t care for. I much more prefer the mixed fruit Swedish fish like lemon orange and lime.
Why can’t anyone make gummies that have deep Lemon, Orange, and Lime citrus flavors??? Aaaaaah!
Bottom Line: First Two will taste nice but then the taste turns syrupy, gelatiny, and even a bit honey like. Okay if you are not a big citrus flavor fan. 🙁
