You guys, NO ONE is a bigger Amy’s fan than I– in fact, I audibly squealed with delight at Target when I saw the new Swirls line- but that’s where my happiness ended. I took the jalapeno swirl and the pesto home, and DON’T DO IT, GUYS! IT’s A TRAP! The roll part of it is no more than a cresent-roll type bread that is awfully hard, and the seasonings aren’t anything to write home about either. You’d do better to make your own with either pizza dough or crescent rolls. Save your scrilla and buy anything else IN THE WORLD (except for that nasty Plenti yogurt of course!) 🙂
Kumquat Kapow??? you better buy me dinner first!! …thank you
Sunny-D lost its appeal for me when they went to mixing with artificial sweeteners in order to attract the dieter crowd. I want my calories back, please. I yearn for the strawberry orange version in the olden days. But a few years ago (the olden days), I knew the end had come when I saw a much lower calorie count emblazoned on the label. The old one was 90 calories per 8oz. People, if you want fewer calories than that just drink less of it or dilute it with water.
I googled a bit to make sure this wasn’t all in my imagination, and found some posts from late 2010 complaining about the sudden change in ingredients and taste. Some people discovered it only when they got sucralose headaches…. I’ve learned to always check the ingredients no matter how many decades I’ve been eating or drinking something.
i had the sunny d green apple burst. tasted just like a green apple jolly rancher!
