FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King Grilled Dogs

Burger King Grilled Dogs

Hot diggity dog! You can now get hot dogs at Burger King.

The burger chain’s new Grilled Dogs come in two varieties — Classic and Chili Cheese. We posted a review of them when they were in the testing phase last summer.

The hot dog itself is flame-grilled and made with 100 percent beef. The Classic is topped with ketchup, mustard, chopped onions, and relish and served on a fluffy baked bun. The Chili Cheese comes with chili and cheddar cheese, and is served on a fluffy baked bun.

The Classic has 310 calories, 16 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 30 milligrams of cholesterol, 960 milligrams of sodium, 32 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of sugar, and 11 grams of protein. The Chili Cheese has 330 calories, 19 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 40 milligrams of cholesterol, 980 milligrams of sodium, 28 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of sugar, and 14 grams of protein.

The price markup on these is stupendous–for Burger King, that is.

True, they have an offer on the bk app for 2 hot dogs and 2 small fries for $5. I’ll be trying that today.

Tried the chili dog….overcooked and dry and the bun bordered on stale. Not impressed.

I had the same experience with my chili dog,def smaller than the bun, chili looked like it was dried up,and the ends of the buns were getting hard….what a shame,I had high hopes too..another BK fail.

  4. dank meme bro

Bk is stuck in the 70’s it seems

  5. Frank

Yep. The hot dog is smaller than in the pic. Bun tasted stale…..all in all very underwhelming.

Why bother when a good package of hot dogs will set you back about $5 on average? Get the buns and condiments and umm, are you still there Burger King? You can move along.

Everything is cheaper when you buy the ingredients from the store and make it yourself. With your logic why do we even have restaurants?

      1. Jay

not every restaurant is filled with loser’s who think they deserve to get paid to much money for the job they do,which is one of the reasons why i never eat fast food anymore
