Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.
Those with Trader Joe’s encyclopedias in their heads will probably remember their roasted plantain chips. Are these different? (Spotted by Sylvia at Trader Joe’s.)
A glazed cinnamon donut doesn’t seem limited edition appropriate. It’s like have vanilla as a limited edition ice cream flavor. (Spotted by Maria L at Stop & Shop.)
Tiger’s Blood Sherbet doesn’t contain a tiger’s blood. The flavor is a combination of cherry, strawberry, watermelon, and a little coconut. (Spotted by Rachel C at Macey’s.)

Cinnamon Chocolate Chip is pink? The company website suggests it is more like a fireball than, say, B&J’s Cinnamon Buns. Would still try if it I lived in its region (http://www.redbuttoncreamery.com/find-redbutton/), as the company website says it is going to be a full time flavor.
I’ve never heard of Tiger’s Blood as a flavor before, but Google tells me that really is a thing. Talk about an unattractive name for a food!
This an ad for Red Button Vintage Creamery? Maybe I’m just confused because it’s a brand that is in just one city, Salt Lake City, and ice cream that is on the same level as the cheaper stuff (Edy’s, Breyers, Blue Bunny, etc.)
It is actually available in seven states.
I thought Tiger’s Blood was Charlie Sheen’s thing…
Tiger’s Blood is a very popular shaved ice flavor in Utah. The cinnamon chocolate chip is more like a fireball … Or like Chocolate covered cinnamon bears made by the Sweets Brand (a Utah candy company that I think make the Trader Joe’s sour T&J’s). Cinnamon bears are also a favorite in Utah – they are one of the most popular items in the BYU bookstore. Red Button Creamery also makes a sprinkled animal cookie flavor that tastes exactly like the pink and white sprinkled animal cookies you eat as a kid, and a black licorice flavor that even my two-year-old niece loves. She always asks for black ice cream!
Red Button is not a premium ice cream by any means, but I think it is very good for a budget ice cream (and this is coming from someone who usually goes for McConnells).
