It kind of looks like raw fish with granola on top. (Spotted by Amanda at Kroger.)
If you’re wondering if thefizzicist.com is taken, because seeing the name sparked a desire in you to start a beverage blog. Yes, it’s taken. (Spotted by Andrew M at Kroger Signature.)
Why isn’t it mango orange? Why can’t mango have the bigger font? No one is drinking this because of the orange, they’re doing it for the mango. (Spotted by Robbie at H-E-B.)
Great for cooking and great for giving to food banks. (Spotted by Amanda at Kroger.)
If you’re one who smokes a bowl or rolls a joint, I bet these might look really good after doing both. (Spotted by Robbie at H-E-B.)
Wait a minute. The peanut butter banana one has the same amount of protein, but it’s not a “High Protein Smoothie Mix.” Conspiracy against nuts? (Spotted by Elizabeth L at Target.)

Looks like the peanut butter one is the only vegan option, the other two are contaminated with whey as the protein source rather than just adding some plant protein. Nuts, seeds, and legumes (often pea protein) are typically used in vegan complete protein powders, often with rice protein. Chia and hemp seeds are popular high protein components.
They probably didn’t use the term “high protein” because peanut butter is well known as a good protein source.
The old-fashioned looking Kroger sodas are really good for store-brand soda. Heavy on the sugar (40g per can for the Cola Time), but it is real sugar and not HFCS.
The Cola is wonderful. It reminded me of how brand names used to taste. I avoid HFCS and aspartame, and wasn’t pleased with most of the choices. Fizzy and more like Coke than Pepsi.
Love the Kroger real sugar cola.
Kroger Real Sugar Birch Beer and Ginger Ale are really tasty. Sweet? Yes, but it’s a soda, they’re supposed to be sweet.
