The frozen limeade and lemonade sound really good. Alas, no Sonic around here. I will try to make do with frozen grapes or strawberries whizzed together with frozen pieces of lime or lemon…. If I ever make enough room in the freezer, I could try making ice cubes with one of the Simply Orange limeade or lemonade flavors and give them the blender treatment.
I want to try the Limeade especially!
Tried the frozen limeade, it was pretty good! A little on the sweet side, but tart–which I love.
I get the lemonades and strawberry lemonades mostly. Good and well-priced, but the first time I tried one, I could have sworn it was post-mix (syrup). I found this site trying to discover whether they use real lemons and they do. Something is off. If they use lemonades, water, sugar only (basic lemonade), it should taste like Chick-fil-A, who have perfected lemonade. Sonic’s “all-natural” lemonades taste a bit artificial, but still a good price point.
There lemonade slushes uses pure lemonade syrup by minute maid. Then they squeeze lemons into that and add the flavorless slush ice to that and blend the fruit or flavors you choose. The drinks are just minutemaid lemonade from the fountain and fresh lemons or the frozen strawberries.
I just got a frozen cherry lemonade and was given a very tart lemon slush with cherry flavoring squirted on top. I thought it was supposed to be smoothie consistency.
Had the lemonade and it was delicious, tasted just like homemade lemonade. Also tried the limeade and was so disappointed, it was nothing but sprite with limes.
Sonic told me that the all natural lemonade was minute made lemonade. It was very disappointing. No lemons in it. Also they said the limeades were made of lime juice and Sprite.
I tried a frozen lemonade and was very disappointed. It was very sweet and it tasted like lemon syrup like that used for a snow cone. No lemon slice added and the consistency was practically the same as a slush. I won’t buy another one.
Burger King HAD a delicious frozen lemonade but it’s not on the menu this year.
I know at my sonic in southern pines, NC, they use real lemons only because I eat the ice once I finish my drink, and I have found pulp from real lemons
I thought the lemonade wasn’t the best… it was good, but the after taste was bad. Tasted like a very tart orange juice, or something to that point.
I would have loved to try the frozen classic lemonade that I requested in the drive thru, I did not realize the lemonade actually has limes in it instead?? Why would I request a freakin lemonade with limes in it???? Not only did sonic fu** up my drink order, the fu**ed up my food order as well! Hire some freakin employees that listen to the customers order! Not give them whatever. Stupid Sonic employees!!!
