It’s not unusual to see Hardee’s take the meat from popular sandwiches and put it in one of their Thickburgers. The chain did that with the Philly cheesesteak and French dip. The latest sandwich-burger hybrid from Hardee’s is the Grilled Ham ‘N’ Cheese Thickburger.
The pork-topped burger features a charbroiled 100 percent Black Angus beef patty, a layer of thinly sliced ham, two slices of American cheese, two slices of Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, and mustard between two slices of grilled bread. It’s available with a 1/4-, 1/3-, or 1/2 lb patty and prices start at $3.79 for just the sandwich. A combo meal with fries and a drink starts at $5.79.

I’m not a fan of topping burgers with other meats. However, this wasn’t as horrible as I thought it would be. The ham and cheese along with the grilled bread and burger worked well together.
