Quasar bars rocks!
umami paste? really?
I just tried the quasar bar and I am so sorry I didnt buy more. It was really good! I liked the dark chocolate. The nougat was really airy, and not heavy like in a Milky way, it was more like a 3 Musketeers nougat. And just the right amount of caramel. Very yummy!
REALLY REALLY GOOD UMAMI PASTE – HOPEFULLY THEY DONT SELL OUT.
I purchased the Ginger Stir-in-Paste, but have not tried. I was disappointed reading, on container, once opened you need to use within 28 days. Today I opened and measured out teaspoons of the paste and placed on a wax paper covered tray and placed in freezer. When it freezes, I will cut small squares, of the same wax papering tray, and wrap each teaspoon of ginger individually, then store in a zip lock bag in the freezer. Now the shelf life extends itself until all used or at least much longer than 28 days. This was extremely easy and took very little time, due to the small amount of oil in the ginger; I squeezed into measuring teaspoon and when tilted, it slid easily onto the wax paper. Hope this tip will help others interested in purchasing your product.
That Umami paste is the most nasty stuff ever. It’s like take a bunch of ingredients, some of which do not belong together, and stick them in a tube. Got some nasty seafood? Check. Two kinds of vinegar? Check. Tomatoes? Check. Black olives? Check. Mushrooms? Check. Lemon juice? Check. Then we’ll top it off with some Parmesan Cheese.
Some of the ingredients I like, but not all mashed together like this.
