Sister chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have rolled out another sandwich with an alcohol-flavored ingredient. This time they’ve teamed up with Anheuser-Busch to offer the Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger.
It follows the Midnight Moonshine Burger, Redhook Beer Battered Cod Fish Sandwich, and Kentucky Bourbon Burger on what should be called Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s Bar Sandwich Crawl.
The new burger features a charbroiled, grass-fed, all-natural beef patty (or a Black Angus patty) with thick-cut Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and a Budweiser beer cheese sauce on a brioche-style premium bun. The beer-flavored ingredient is a creamy cheddar cheese sauce blended with the classic taste of America’s No. 1 full-flavored lager.
Budweiser Beer Cheese Fries is also being offered at participating locations. It’s made up of fries topped with the same beer cheese sauce and crumbled bacon.
