New box design, same old cereal. Also, this might be the first Christmas Crunch that doesn’t have the Cap’n dressed up as Santa. (Spotted by Amanda Y at Target.)
Is it just me or does everyone else want to call these Yo Yos? Just me? Okay. (Spotted by Eric and Leanna at Stop & Shop.)

First: I love the “Christmas with the Kranks” / “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” reference here the cap’n is doing xD
(WAY better than santa! He’s a cap’n and not santa… -.-)
But one question from a fellow foodie, that is not quite familiar with all the pillsbury cookie stuff (due to the circumstance, that they don’t sell those kind of things here):
What is it about those “cut out cookies”. I got it… they are available in different shapes and you can get pumpkins for halloween and hearts for valentines day if you want… but are they already “pre-cut” and ready to bake? (meaning: open the box get your oven ready and put all the already ready to bake pieces in the oven without any further doing?) or du you just get the batter and some cookie cutters and still have to cut your cookies yourself?
I’m just askin, ’cause i dont get the point in not doing it yourself… getting a basic cookie batter ready is no “magic” and (at least here in germany) every single household has cookie cutters shaped in christmas trees, snowmans, shooting stars, hearts, stars, whatever christmas related shape you can name…
(meaning: as i get the idea for halloween day (even eastern… though not really), ’cause you usually don’t have pumpkin shaped cookie cutters: why should i buy those boxes? oO Any help here? ^^’)
