While many of you were sleeping or getting ready for bed last night, Krispy Kreme in the U.S. announced a new doughnut topped with Nutella. The Nutty Cocoa Ring features the popular chocolate spread with hazelnut bits sprinkled on half the doughnut.
Here’s a short ad announcing the new doughnut:
While the Nutty Cocoa Ring is new to the U.S., a quick Google search shows it debuted in Malaysia in November.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

WOW! This is so mindblowing! Thank god we have Krispy Kreme! I mean who would’ve ever thought about using your favorite Hazelnut Spread or favorite Chocolate (e.g. Milka) as glaze for a Donut!?!?!?!
If they would just had thought about putting Nutella on a Raspberry filled one or on top of caramael glaze… oh what? You say you could put Nutella on them either way, without Krispy Kreme doing it for you? No WAY!
-.-
Ok, don’t get me wrong here: It is great to have the choice of getting yourself a great Donut with Nutella already on it and maybe it’s just the european in me (who can get his hands on Nutella in an instant), but it’s not really THAT groundbreaking/innovative is it? ^^
Yeah it’s so innovative, that they copied Tim Hortons within less than a year.

No way this can be better because Tim’s entire donut was covered with Nutella and chopped nuts.
and they did it even better… -.-
xD
