For those of you keeping track at home, Peanut Butter Fudge Sorbetto is Talenti flavor #45, Vanilla Blueberry Crumble is #46, and Vanilla Chai is #47. (Spotted by Rachel C at Sprouts.)

hm… not sure about my feelings about this…
I mean i could wrap my head araound a “chocolate sorbetto” though – for me – sorbetto is always made with fruit (and maybe honey), but doesn’t this go a step too far in bending the definition and name of “sorbetto”?
I mean… yeah maybe Talenti’s Sorbetto is one of the best and hell if so i hope they do a lot more flavors for all those people who can’t enjoy dairy products, but that’s the case… those flavors aren’t sorbettos anymore… they are (maybe!) really good tasting dairy free gelatos/ice creams. So call them “dairy free ice cream” and not sorbetto… -.-
I don’t like it when brands think they just could “bend” the definition of something for better marketing… 🙁
Still: If they taste good (and i never had or will have; due to the fact that i am not living in the US; talentis sorbetto) i’m somehow fine with it. I mean it’s good to have a nice tasting dairy free choice of non fruit flavored ice creams. ^^
