Impulsive Buy reader Jody B took this photo featuring a menu board promoting Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries with nacho cheese dipping sauce and Nacho Fries Supreme, which are fries topped with nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo, and seasoned ground beef. She took the photo at a location in Bakersfield, CA.
A quick Google search shows the taco chain has been testing fries in the U.S. since late last year, but calling them Seasoned Fries. Also, fries have been a menu item at Taco Bell locations in other countries.

I think I mentioned how bad Taco Bell Puerto Rico’s fries were, but upon closer inspection, these fries look much better than those I had in Puerto Rico, which were plain, run-of-the-mill fries. Now I’m looking forward to these!
Yay, no longer going to McDonalds and getting an order of fries for dippin’ from them. I am about an hour from Bakersfield so my small town might be getting these soon. Another thing I like is getting the Fiery Habanero Dinamita and using those to dip.
Fries have been a staple at Taco Bell Canada for decades, though they weren’t seasoned. I remember finding it strange when I went to Taco Bell in America to learn they didn’t even have fries.
Yeah, usually we Canadians are the ones who are on the short end of the stick, junk food/fast food-wise.
Maybe. But you do have poutine. Which, as far as I know, is not sold at any fast food restaurants in the US.
It also seems odd that a taco chain is selling fries. That’s usually burger joint territory. Fast food tacos seem to have never had a legitimate sidekick. Unless it’s more tacos. Or maybe a burrito. Or a taco burrito.
I hope these are basically long forms of their little seasoned potatoes they’ve had for ages, because those are tastyyyyy
Ahh the joy of living in a tester city.
I got them at a Taco Bell located in Delano, California and they were the best hands down! Hopefully all the Taco Bell locations get them because I went in Irvine, California and they never even heard of them 🙁
