There’s a new, spicy value burger on the menus at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s — the Jalapeño Double Cheeseburger
Carl’s Jr.’s version features two charbroiled beef patties, jalapeño coins, two slices of pepper jack cheese, Santa Fe Sauce, lettuce, and tomato on a plain bun. The Hardee’s version is slightly different. It comes with Swiss cheese and a sesame seed bun.
It’s available at both chains for $2.49 and as a combo meal with fries and a drink for $4.99 at participating locations.
The Carl’s Jr. one has 580 calories, 39 grams of fat, 13 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 85 milligrams of cholesterol, 1200 milligrams of sodium, 36 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 22 grams of protein.

They have a Baby Back Rib burger too. It was okay and I love ribs and burgers but kind of plain overall.
