I could just write about how this is a slushy version of Mtn Dew’s new Spiked Lemonade. Or I could copy and paste the description on Taco Bell’s website that reads more like a short story.
Lemonade. The very thought of this brightly colored, thirst quenching beverage brings visions of cheerful sunny days and cloudless blue skies which seem to go on forever. And what’s that you see just down the street at the corner? Why it’s that nice little neighborhood girl. And look, she has set up a lemonade stand. How cute she is with her little sign and ice cold pitcher. But wait… take a closer look. She’s not quite selling what you think she’s selling. Go ahead, buy a cup and take a sip. Yep, she’s gone and spiked the lemonade. No… not with booze, but with the juice of that rare, tasty and semi-exotic fruit the Prickly Pear. It seems this little girl has quite the eye for innovation and a bit of a rebel streak too. So you ask her where she got her inspiration. With a beaming smile, this little entrepreneur points her finger westward and simply says… “Taco Bell”. For it seems her dad took her there just yesterday, after a trip to the beach, to try out the all new Mountain Dew Spiked Lemonade Freeze. She’s been thinking about it ever since… and thanks to her… so will you. Cheers.
