Will we someday see mini Unreal Dark Chocolate Crispy Quinoa Gems stuffed into Unreal Crispy Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups? That would be unreal. (Spotted by Rachel C at Whole Foods.)

Soda flavored treats
What a unique idea
I hope I can find
That’s Hi-Chew… oh wait that’s haiku. My bad lol! They do sound good though 🙂
The Hi-Chew fizzies were not too bad. Cola flavor did taste like the real stuff minus the fizz. Orange soda was good too.
Dear KitKat, Strawberry isn’t that interesting and I don’t like it that much. Please bring some of those Japanese flavors to the United States. Grape was FAN-TAS-TIC!
Sincerely,
Yuppicide
The ends go down to a different area when cut off and become Twizzlers Bites.
I like dark chocolate quite a lot, I’m fine with licorice, and I’m not at all familiar with the taste of fennel. The idea of combining dark chocolate, licorice and fennel together is not very appealing. I like broccoli and I like hot fudge sauce, but I would not want to be served broccoli topped with hot fudge sauce.
Fennel actually tastes similar to black licorice, which is why Italian sausage often has a noticeable note of licorice taste to it. So it will probably be a good mix for those who like that. Personally, I can’t stand black licorice so it’s not for me. But to each their own.
I think the idea of liquorice in chocolate is a lot more of an alien idea to the US – it’s pretty standard in Nordic countries – it’s not that common in the UK, but I don’t think it freaks people out quite as much as reactions I’ve seen to it. I love liquorice so that sounds lovely to me (not that I visit the US anymore and can go to World Market, I used to love going – used to buy some sugar free liquorice gummies in there actually, which were actually Australian) – I’ve had some amazing liquorice and chocolate combinations from Iceland 🙂 not so keen on the salty liquorice though. 54% isn’t really that dark either, I wouldn’t start considering a chocolate to be dark til over 65% myself.
Would love ‘Unreal’ candy to launch over in the UK – def gap in the market for candy with no ‘nasties’ .
I so SO hope more unique KitKat flavors start coming out!!
