Long John Silver’s has a new menu item available throughout the summer. The seafood chain’s Homestyle Buttermilk Cod is made with 100 percent wild caught Alaskan cod that’s cooked to a golden brown. It’s served with natural-cut fries and Long John Silver’s hushpuppies for $5.99.
The menu item is available through August 27 at participating locations.
A serving has 240 calories, 100 calories from fat, 11 grams of fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 60 milligrams of cholesterol, 890 milligrams of sodium, 17 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 19 grams of protein.

I can get breaded anywhere… but a well done battered fish is hard to find!
Teach your people to do batter right and you will be busy…
im sick of coming in and only about half of the fish is covered…
The battered Cod at Long John Silvers is great. its not greasy and the coating is very light. Some of the best fried fish ever
