Limited Edition is hopefully just until they can trademark “Sal-sages”.
Jalapeno cheddar salmon sausages? That’s the stuff nightmares are made of (not that cream cheese & capers or Italian flavored salmon sausages are much of an improvement).
jalapenos and cheddar doesnt work and neither does capers but oh well
we just tried both the Cream Cheese with Capers, and the Italian Salmon sausage…. Both are fantastic. We are going to use the Italian on red meat free pizza. And the Cream cheese and capers remind me of bagels with lox, cream cheese and capers. We went back to Kroger and purchased 12 packages. They are on clearance and my guess is that Kroger will stop carrying them or Gortons has discontinued them. But we still love them.
Just had some..they were on sale for 99cent ha..Delicious..
70 calories. Not bad !
Probably better in a sushi roll rather on a hot dog bun.
limited editin my behind…. stop being so gibbersih and hobing evrything so u can take it off the stores.. that sounds like a nice idea but reason y i dont spend 13 dollars for a pack of judt four.. 2 for 5 and thats a deal..
Followed the instructions for grilling the salmon (Italian) sausages. Found them very dry and little flavor. Not worth the price. I have bought Gorman products and have been pleased in the past. This one was very disappointing.
Bought the cheese with capers. Cooked with a little olive oil and sea salt.
Smelled like hot dogs frying. Cooked until crispy brown.
Everyone LOVED them, Including me!!!
Will buy more to freeze before they stop making them!
Great flavor!
Some friends and family are pesco vegetarian and they were happy to find something that tastes, looks and smells like a Frank, but is made of salmon.
Is Kroger the only store that carries these salmon sausages? If so that sucks because we don’t have a Kroger’s here.
Bought 2 pks of the Italian, and Imo, Gorton has a winner with these guys.

Spotted and bought the Gorton’s Italian salmon sausages. I grilled 4 sausages tonight along with other meats and vegetables. I have to say, the salmon sausages are delicious! I would love to try the other varieties but my Kroger only had Italian.
I came across 2 packages of Gorton’s Salmon Sausage/jalapeno cheddar in King Soopers in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Both my son and I enjoyed them so much that we have been looking for them. I didn’t realize that there were so many flavors. The cream cheese and capers and The Italian must be incredible!
I have a question. I would like to know if there are any stores in Ohio who carry Gorton’s salmon sausages? We found them in Weirton, W.V. , but we live in Ohio. We would love to try them but didn’t buy them there because they had cheese in the flavors they offered. We don’t eat cheese. We wanted to try the Italian flavor, so the meat manager said he would order them for us. We have to go back down to get them, but we hope there’s a store closer to us that carry them. We tried to find out what the ingredients are in them but couldn’t get any info online. Is this a new product & can you help us?
Dillons/Kroger sold these all summer and I was eating them left and right. Then they put them on clearance and I bought almost every package they had. I love all three flavors. My favorite was the Jalapeno Cheddar because I love, love hot, spicy food.
Did Gortons stop making the salmon dogs or am I just missing them at Kroger….anyone know? Would order them off Gortons site but they dont seem to do it like that ?!
