  1. Hey Marvo, the “unknown brand” items at Walmart are from the brand Sinco. Spotted all 3 Tarte flavors at my local Walmart.

  2. ok… the “Tastykake Halloween Creme Filled Snowballs” are like a slap in the face for me… -.-
I really like snowballs and really wanted to get me some while in the US the last time… the walmart i was in seemed not to have them so i ask an employee… and was almost laughed at…
“They still exist and they are still produced?”

And here they are in bright orange ready for halloween… -.-
At least they are still produced, so i can get them in about 10 years i’m in the US again 😉

      1. I also think of orange flavor, all the time i see those special orange colored halloween boxes and products, but i’ve to admit i’m not a big fan of chocolate and orange as flavor combination (i know it’s a common one and there are a lot of people, that like it, but it’s not my cup of tea), so i’m always happy when orange flavor is not part of halloween themed chocolate xD

But: I can understand why people would love to have snoballs with a different flavor from time to time, like the inferior Twinkies seem to get as often as Oreos do 😉
I’m happy with the regular snoball flavor, but unfortunately we don’t have them here in Germany and as i mentioned: This specific walmart in California doesn’t even know that they still exist 😉

      2. I thought they were all the same flavour just the colour changes seasonally (at least the Hostess brand anyway).

    1. I purchased these as I have always loved the snowballs since I was little, especially the pink ones. Loving both Halloween and snowballs I had to try them. They were very good. The cake was moist and the coconut shell was perfect. They didn’t seem to have as much cream in the center but I think that is true of most cream filled items these days. Hostess did/does make a 6 count package of Halloween orange snowballs called Glo Balls. I remember seeing them at the Giant food store last year and, I think, also at Walmart. I didn’t notice them this year but I also wasn’t really looking for them.

  3. I’m really curious to know how old those Rippin’ Good Double Filled Twists are. The factory closed almost 2 years ago.

    1. I just bought a pack and the best by date is April 11, 2018. So maybe a new factory opened somewhere? They taste fresh and are very delicious, so much so that I’m hoping to get another couple packs while they are still available.
