The cast iron pans/cookie kits aren’t new. Walmart has had those for years. The Reese’s one is good. The pans are good for making like, one egg.
Good to know! By looks of the pictures the pans are quite big.. and for only $6 for a free pan? I was going to say “SOLD!” but now.. just.. meh.
I realize that people love the idea of a “cast iron” skillet being included with a baking mix but for $6, Does anyone actually think the situation completely through?
That skillet is going to be without any doubts, made in China or some other country where manufacturing/environmental standards are such that allows making a skillet for less than a $1. I can’t even begin to think what types of metal are in these skillets. Take the $6 and hit up a local thrift store or garage sale. I’m certain you’ll find something more serviceable.
The Tastykake krimpets are wonderful. I really hope they become a permanent addition to the fall rotation.
