That Smithfield product are pork cops, not just the seasoning.
And I’m intrigued by the sipping vinegar. Is that supposed to remedy ailments?
Supposedly, vinegar is supposed to be good for weight loss, blood sugar regulation, and so on. But drinking the stuff is a mixed bag, especially since it’s (duh) quite acidic. So it might not be great for your tooth enamel, or your digestion. (Apple juice — the stuff with added ascorbic acid — tends to give me reflux, so I don’t want to know what sipping vinegar would do.)
A quick Google search will pull up reasonably reputable sources describing it as a mixed bag at best, and less reputable sources calling it a miracle cure. I’ll trust WebMD over Dr. Oz… XD
I bought the cranberry sipping vinegar today (total impulse buy!) then found this. It tastes about as bad as apple cider vinegar ever does but the honey does make it a little sweeter. The back of the container suggests drinking 1oz to 8oz of water or “sip it, shoot it, or mix it”.
I tried sipping it and ugh..not the worst thing i’ve ever tasted but still very very vinegar-y. I’ll try mixing it in water before lunch.
Also it doesn’t expire for almost 2 years. O_O
I wasn’t aware those pancake/waffle mixes were new! I’ve got a box of the Cinnamon and PB&J, I was thinking of making some this weekend.
We stayed at a somewhat nearby hotel that had amazing cinnamon waffles/pancakes at brunch, and I have been trying to recreate them at home. I’d been hunting for cinnamon cake mix to put in the waffle maker, in my mind that was the path to success. Here’s hoping Walmart pulls through.
I bought the PB&J because it seemed weird.
Try to see if you can find the Betty Crocker Cinnamon streusel muffin/bread mix, or the Pillsbury Cinnamon Bun flavored cake mix. Both would make good pancake/waffles.
That was my plan, to keep an eye out for the Pillsbury mix. Their webpage says the nearest box is at least an hour away, so for now it’s up to Walmart.
