Here are a few interesting junk food-related stories from the past week or so. Enjoy.

When I was growing up, the appearance of the large Whitman’s sampler meant Christmas Time was here. My favorite piece was one called Cherry Nut Nouget (Roman Nougat also). No one in my family has ever tasted one because I snagged them immediately.
Now I’m going to have to buy a Whitman’s Sampler just so I can see what a Cherry Nut Nougat tastes like, because I don’t remember this one. My favorite piece was the little solid Whitman chocolate man.
Kind of lame article about bacterial contamination. Of course restaurants are going to have a more in depth cleaning schedule because they don’t want to be sued.
Ahhh, nothing says “I couldn’t think of anything else” like the Whitman’s Sampler.
