Every year, when I see a shooting star, I make a wish. And that wish is for Nestle to buy back the Kit Kat brand from Hershey’s in the U.S. so that we can have awesome Kit Kat varieties like these. But that wish is now dead because Nestle’s U.S. candy business was sold to Ferrero. So we are stuck with Hershey’s Kit Kat bars. (Spotted by @EmilyProsser7 at Walmart in Canada.)
If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you’ve tried the product, share your thoughts about it in the comments.
Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.
Those came out in Australia a few years ago. They’re all pretty good, I wish the US had stuff like it.
There may still be hope. Kit Kat wasn’t included in Ferrero’s purchase of Nestle’s candy brands.
You guys are soooo lucky. Wonder if Quebec would have them?
