Dairy Queen’s Limited Release Star Spangled Blizzard looks like a Fourth of July Frankenstein frozen treat.
It combines blue candy blended with cherry flavored soft serve topped with DQ’s signature ball and curl with a red, white, and blue DQ Stars and Stripes StarKiss frozen treat plopped right next to it.
According to DQ’s website, it available only as a mini and while supplies last. Also, it’s not available in Texas for some reason.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

It was very good. I liked the cherry ice cream. I didn’t care for the rock candy.
How many calories in the size you offer for today, the 4th of July?
Its only available in a Mini because of cost and how do they serve it upside down….they must really cram it in there lol.
I would be interested to see if they are going to start branching out with soft serve flavors now. That could be a huge draw.
