Burger King has two new menu items that feature jalapenos — the Jalapeno King and Spicy Crispy Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich.
The burger version has two 1/4 lb. flamed–grilled beef patties, thick-cut smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and a creamy green chili aioli on a toasted sesame seed bun.
It has 990 calories, 65 grams of fat, 24 grams of saturated fat, 3 gram of trans fat, 205 milligrams of cholesterol, 1550 milligrams of sodium, 46 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 55 grams of protein.
A few months ago, BK rolled out a spicy version of its Crispy Chicken Sandwich, but our reviewer didn’t think it had any heat. That might not be the case with this version.
This spicy menu item features a white meat seasoned chicken filled that’s breaded with bold flavors and spices, thick-cut smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and a creamy green chili aioli on a toasted potato bun.
The sandwich has 760 calories, 45 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 95 milligrams of cholesterol, 1720 milligrams of sodium, 58 grams of carbohydrates, and 32 grams of protein.

Tried the chicken version yesterday. Was actually very surprised at how hot the sandwich was. The jalapenos were very fresh and not pickled, so they provided a lot of heat. Obviously jalapeno heat varies wildly sometimes, so ymmv. Overall I really loved it.
Not a fan. Tried both. Nothing really different here except the aioli. The jalapenos were not fresh, they were pickled. I even asked for extra. Perhaps if they put lettuce, tomato, & onion to cut through all the other heavy ingredients it may have been better. Just nothing special.
