I tried these a few days ago. I would say they are average to OK. Supremely sweet, and no real balance of flavors. It just clubs you over the head with that tangy BBQ flavor. First couple are great, but entirely one note.
Clubs you over the head with that tangy BBQ flavor?….that’s sounds like a promotion to me lol.
Tried these last week with my husband. We loved them. They had a good amount of heat and pretty meaty considering the price. Hope they keep them on the menu.
I wonder what the price of these is–premium-priced?
Wow, that’s a lot of sugar for a non-dessert item.
Mcdonalds is all about adding sugar to items…just take a look at their Fruit and Yogurt Parfait and ask yourself why does it have almost as much sugar as two Twinkies???
I could tell they might be delicious if they were not swimming in the bbq sauce.
I had them for dinner tonight, they were just okay. I would never get them again, they were bland and just not great. I got the 6 piece and with tax it was over $11, but the 4 piece would have been more than enough. These have the same fatal flaw as the mighty wings, they’re way overpriced and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to be cooked. Also, they are just sweet (very sweet), there was absolutely no heat whatsoever.
It’s nice you gave some idea of the price. Prices for ANY McD’s stuff are scarce as hen’s teeth. Maybe we’ll just settle for the good ol’ Nuggets.
They say they’re “hand-tossed and glazed to perfection”….if that means they just throw some bbque sauce on them when they come out of the deep fryer, then I guess they are “glazed to perfection”! NOT!!!
