Sonic recently replicated the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak into a footlong. But now it’s venturing to reproduce the flavors of a steakhouse with its new Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger.
The burger features a 1/4-pound 100 percent pure beef patty, bacon, grilled onions, cheese, and a smoky black pepper mayo on a bakery-quality brioche bun. It’s available for a limited time at participating locations.
If you decide to give it a try, you can get the burger with an order of medium tots for $4.99.

The new Sonic Steakhouse burger with bacon and cheese is a ripoff. The image shows a mouthwatering, thick burger patty and bacon extending over the edge of the bun. What you get instead is a tiny, thin patty, half that size, buried in the bun with a few scattered tiny pieces of minced onion and small pieces of bacon equivalent to taking a half piece of bacon and breaking it in half again and putting those two small pieces on the bread. HUGE disappointment. There should be a law about such false advertising!
Would like to see the steakhouse bacon cheeseburger was one of the best ever. Would like to see if it could be on the menu permanently.
