For a limited time, starting on January 30, McDonald’s will be adding bacon to a few of its classic menu items. The lineup includes:
Big Mac Bacon – Along with the two all beef patties, Special Sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun, this version of the iconic burger will also have three pieces of thick-cut Applewood-smoked bacon.
Quarter Pounder Bacon – Three pieces of the Applewood-smoked bacon are added with the 1/4 lb beef patty, onions, pickles, cheese, ketchup, mustard, and sesame seed bun.
Cheesy Bacon Fries – McDonald’s World Famous Fries topped with cheddar cheese and smoked bacon bits. We reviewed it when it was being tested late last year.
To celebrate the baconized classics, the fast food chain is having the McDonald’s Bacon Hour.
For one day (January 29), for one hour (4-5 p.m. local time), and at participating restaurants nationwide, customers will be able to get FREE thick-cut Applewood-smoked bacon with ANYTHING they order on the menu. Bacon with a Hot Fudge Sundae? Yup. Bacon on Chicken McNuggets? Yes. Bacon with an apple pie. That’s affirmative. Bacon on a side salad? Boring, but yes.
If you try any of the classics with bacon, let us know what you think in the comments.

Bacon wrapped in hotcakes???….I’m thinking YES!!!!!!!!!
A Sausage McMuffin with bacon sounds like something that should already be on the menu.
Have you not seen the breakfast stacks, John?! Lol
